![]() WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: If you're not interested in anything past the 1970s being a “classic” or “collectible,” this puppy won't do it for you. ![]() If you want a car that will capture what GM was during the late 1980s, this is the car for you. WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: This car embodies everything the American performance car market was chasing during the time period in which it was built. And boy is it a blast to drive! Plus, this car has the sought-after WS6 suspension package. It drives and handles like.an American muscle car from the 1980s. It sounds great and has just enough rumble. MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: This Pontiac runs smoothly and has a subtle, but menacing exhaust note. Even the digital odometer readout is operating correctly! All of that glorious late 20-th-century technology is still functional too! The digital dash and instruments are functioning properly and are simply too cool. Almost surprisingly, the interior soft goods and hard plastics are all intact. The gray cloth is a great choice against the white paint. INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The interior condition is very nice for a domestic car of this era. It is very slick and glossy paint! Something about the white really makes this Firebird pop. PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: The paint is just as nice as the body it is wrapped around! This car has been repainted, and appears to have seen very little use since it was done. It is clear this car has not been used and abused and has truly been cared for. This car has been driven as a fun/toy vehicle, and escaped abuse by being stored for quite a while. Not only is this car's styling very indicative of the trends of the '80s, it has an easily recognizable look that is very distinct compared even to its Chevrolet counterpart.īODY OVERVIEW: The body on this Pontiac is as nice as one would expect a car with 66,000 miles to be. This car packs plenty American-Made homegrown horsepower under the hood thanks to a 5.7L Fuel-Injected V8. HIGHLIGHTS: This is a unique rad-era performance car suited to the needs of anybody looking for a little automotive excitement when behind the wheel of a unique car. If I were a betting man, this car is in a landfill somewhare, but this car did have a lot of centimental value and I do miss it.66K MILES, WS6 PACKAGE, SUPER CLEAN CLASSIC FIREBIRD! If anyone ever purchases a 3rd gen, do look past the 2.8 liter and carbureted 5.0 liter and either go straight the the 350cu GTA/TA or the 3.8 liter TTA. I liked it at the time, but the car was all bark and no bite. When it was traded 2nd gear started to slip, and when braking the car veered to the drivers side abruptly, the alignment was either off or the disk brakes were worn/aligned bad. Transmission went out on the interstate and it sat in the driveway for 3 months until it was fixed. Lots of squeaks and rattles and road noise, but I can forgive that to being a 20+ year old car. ![]() The interior was pretty basic, I got tired of the stock audio system and put in a aftermarket one. It looked sporty and again it was a head turner. The 2.8 liter although great in a 2800lb fiero, is a deadweight in a 3200lb firebird. It was a good 1st car and introduced me to the world of performance cars.
